Contract manufacturing
We support companies that want to focus on their core business rather than manufacturing in-house.
As a contract manufacturing partner, we take full responsibility for the production of complex components and subassemblies. From initial design-for-manufacturing advice to final assembly, quality control and testing where required, we manage the entire process.
Our team of experienced engineers understands the difference between a drawing that looks good on paper and a component that can actually be manufactured efficiently and reliably. We use that expertise to optimise production processes, control costs and ensure consistent quality.
Throughout the process, you retain control over the design, while we take care of bringing it to life. Whether you need a single component or a production run, a prototype or full-scale manufacturing, we adapt to your requirements.
What we manufacture
Our mechanical workshop is equipped for the production of:
- Components for cleanroom environments
- Vacuum technology
- Specialised machinery
- Semiconductor applications
- Prototypes and test setups
Parts Manufacturing
We manufacture components ranging from one-off parts to high-volume production runs. With our own machine shop and advanced CNC machining capabilities, we maintain direct control over precision and lead times.
For certain critical components of our own vision inspection systems, such as the vacuum wheel that transports products through the machine, we always handle production in-house. These components are essential to the system’s performance and form part of our proprietary technology.

What we offer
Rapid prototyping, complex mechanical components, dedicated tooling, flexible production volumes, subassemblies, design-for-manufacturing (DfM) advice and industrialisation.
Engineering advice & Process optimisation
Our engineers provide expertise in manufacturability, cost reduction and industrialisation. From the initial design stage, we work with you to determine how each component can be manufactured as efficiently as possible. Getting involved early helps avoid costly adjustments later in the process.
Supply Chain Management
For components we don’t manufacture in-house, we work with trusted partners we’ve collaborated with for many years. We manage the supply chain, oversee quality and coordinate logistics. The result: quality-checked, traceable finished products, delivered on time.
Design for manufacturability
We think along from the very first design. Our engineers assess drawings for manufacturability before a single cut is made. That sounds obvious, but it is a step many parties skip, resulting in costly revisions or manufacturability problems that emerge later in the process.
At Simac Masic, machining expertise sits close to engineering expertise. That enables early intervention: defining better tolerances, choosing smarter geometries, eliminating unnecessary machining steps. The result: components that are better, produced faster and less expensive.

Quality assurance
Our measurement room is equipped with advanced measurement technology, allowing us to inspect every component down to the smallest detail. This applies not only to parts we manufacture ourselves, but also to components received from suppliers. We never rely on assumptions or take quality for granted. Every component is measured and verified with the utmost precision.
Before production begins, our engineers assess technical drawings for manufacturability and carry out tolerance analyses. They look beyond individual components to consider how all the parts fit and function together as a complete assembly. This proactive approach helps prevent issues further down the line, saving both time and money.
Need components produced?
Do you need precision components manufactured, inspected and delivered by a skilled partner? Or would you rather not depend on an external supplier for specific critical components? Get in touch. We are happy to discuss whether our machining capacity fits your needs.
Module assembly
Our assembly team brings mechanical, electrical and optical components together to create functional units, following detailed engineering drawings and precise work instructions. From individual components to complete, ready-to-use modules, we manage the entire assembly process. We manufacture critical components in-house and work with trusted suppliers for everything else.

Flexible and scalable
Our approach adapts to the scope of your project, scaling from prototypes to production runs and from one-off components to series production.
Quality assurance
Every module is inspected and supplied with the required documentation. Our quality team oversees the entire process, from the receipt of individual components to final module delivery. Every step is fully traceable and documented, in accordance with the standards and requirements that matter most to our customers.
Precision in every detail
Every assembled module is inspected in our metrology room to verify that all tolerances are met. This applies to components we manufacture in-house as well as those supplied by our partners. By checking every element, we ensure that all components fit and function together exactly as intended.
What we assemble
Our assembly capacity covers:
- Mechanical subassemblies and frames
- Electrical and electromechanical modules
- Optical systems: camera mounts, lighting units, lens configurations
- Vacuum and pneumatic modules
- Fully integrated systems and machines
We work on the basis of detailed technical drawings and strict work instructions. Every step in the assembly process is documented and traceable.
How we work
The steps we take to get to the best result.
Preparation
All components undergo incoming inspection before assembly. In-house and supplier parts are verified against drawings and specifications to ensure quality from the start.
Assembly
Our technicians follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings, with built-in quality checkpoints to prevent costly errors and ensure precision.
Documentation
Every module and critical subassembly is measured and documented. The resulting records support validation, traceability, and delivery requirements.
Why Simac Masic?
We are not a generalist assembly company. Our background lies in building advanced inspection and automation systems. That means our technicians work with the precision and attention that complex technology demands. We understand what the module must do, and that translates into a better end result.
Outsource assembly?
Looking for a partner who understands the technology, ensures quality and delivers on time? Get in touch. We are happy to discuss your situation and what we can do for you.
Module testing
A module leaving the factory must do what it is supposed to do. No assumptions, no guesswork. Testing is the only way to know for certain.
At Simac Masic we do not only test our own inspection systems. We also test modules and subassemblies for clients who want to know whether their product performs as designed, before it reaches the end customer or goes into production. Our test infrastructure, built in service of our own high quality standards, is also available to clients who need independent testing capacity.
How we test
Our testing capacity is focused on mechanical, electromechanical and optical systems and modules. We carry out, among others, the following tests:
Functional test
Verifying that a module or system performs its intended functions under all relevant operating conditions, using objective acceptance criteria.
Performance tests
Measuring throughput, accuracy, repeatability, and stability under controlled conditions. For inspection systems, this includes verifying correct detection while minimizing false rejects.
Calibration
Our measurement room and calibration lab provide accurate calibration of optical and mechanical systems. This ensures traceable measurements and reliable performance in regulated environments.
Endurance and durability tests
For critical components, we simulate long-term production use to identify wear, drift, and performance changes before deployment.
Acceptance tests
During FAT(Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test), clients jointly verify system performance against specifications. We manage the test process and provide all required documentation.
Testing in regulated environments
For clients in the pharmaceutical and medical industry, test processes must be demonstrable and traceable. We draw up test protocols in accordance with IQ/OQ/PQ requirements and deliver test reports that can be used as part of the validation dossier. Our engineers are familiar with the documentation requirements in GMP environments.
