Module assembly
From individual components to a working whole. Module assembly is the step where engineering precision and craftsmanship come together.
Simac Masic assembles both for its own inspection systems and for clients who want to outsource their production to a partner with the right knowledge and infrastructure. Our assembly line is set up for complex mechanical, electrical and optical assemblies, from one-offs to series, from prototype to production run.
What we assemble
Our assembly capacity covers:
- Mechanical subassemblies and frames
- Electrical and electromechanical modules
- Optical systems: camera mounts, lighting units, lens configurations
- Vacuum and pneumatic modules
- Fully integrated systems and machines
We work on the basis of detailed technical drawings and strict work instructions. Every step in the assembly process is documented and traceable.
How we work
Preparation
Before assembly begins, all required components undergo incoming inspection. Dimensional deviations or quality issues are flagged before they end up in a module. Components we produce ourselves in our machine shop go through their own quality control. Components from suppliers are verified against drawings and specifications.
Assembly
Our technicians work from step-by-step work instructions and assembly drawings. At critical steps, intermediate checkpoints are built in. This prevents errors that are costly to correct later. We value craftsmanship: people who understand what they are building and why every tolerance matters.
Documentation
Every assembled module is measured in our measurement room. Not only the final module, but also the subassemblies that are critical to the whole. All measurement results are documented and form part of the delivery documentation. For clients in regulated sectors, this supports validation and traceability requirements.
Why module assembly at Simac Masic?
We are not a generalist assembly company. Our background lies in building advanced inspection and automation systems. That means our technicians work with the precision and attention that complex technology demands. We understand what the module must do, and that translates into a better end result.
